High on heroin, man faces drug charges after Monroe County traffic stop, police say

A 46 year old man stopped Friday in Monroe County was high on heroin and had sever Oakley Vault al packets of drugs and more than $3,400 in his car, Pocono Mountain Regional police said.
Rodney Wilcox, of Tobyhanna Township, admitted to police that he snorted two bags of heroin before driving away from the Pocono Farms Country Club in Coolbaugh Township, police said. Police say they saw Wilcox commit traffic violations on Hemlock Drive and Pine Valley Drive, leading to the stop.
Wilcox admitted to police he had more heroin in his car, police said. After obtaining a search warrant, police found 87 packets of heroin, 5 bags of cocaine and 47 prescription pills in Oakley Vault the car, along with $3,470, police said.
Wilcox was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and drivi Oakley Vault ng under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arraigned by District Ju Oakley Vault dge Richard Claypool and sent to Monroe County Correctional facility under $100,000 bail.
