CHUCK CASSETTA understands how people behave at work, and he has developed an intricate and very accurate method of profiling worker talents and abilities.

For the fourth time in five years, Cassetta was invited to speak at the International Winner’s Conference of Target Training International, a career counseling company in Scottsdale, Ariz. Target Training International markets his publications and computer programs.

And for the fourth time, the Hampstead resident was selected from a field of more than 3,000 information distributors to receive the International President’s Award, the top award offered by the company.

Professionals in the field of employee behavior praised Cassetta at the conference.

Cassetta has developed a computer generated pie chart of 60 variables of character and personality within corporate subtopics. A thorough questionnaire he developed is used to sift through 39,000 variables to determine where an individual’s traits fall. The outcome effectively illustrates whether someone is in the correct niche within a company.

Scouts selling mulch

Boy Scout Troop 9 is selling dark brown shredded hardwood mulch. Orders must be received and paid for by April 20. April 28. Bulk delivery is available within 10 miles of the school.

Mulch is offered by the cubic yard and in 3 cubic foot bags.

The cost per cubic yard is $20 without delivery. Delivery costs $15 extra.

Bags cost $3 each and are for pickup only. Nine bags equal one cubic yard.

This is the fourth year the Scouts have sold mulch to support summer camp and outdoor troop experiences. Emory United Methodist Church sponsors the troop.

Start spring cleaning by donating cleaning products to the Food Pantry of North East Social Action Program Inc.

The pantry is seeking donations of cleaning products, such as laundry detergent, dish detergent, all purpose cleaners, paper towels, toilet paper and tissues. Sundries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner are always needed.

A brief business meeting will include voting for officers for 2001 2002 and a presentation by Oa Oakley Outlet kley Outlet Mike College of the Maryland State Police. Pupils’ technology projects will be on display.
